BURNS NIGHT BARN DANCE 2022
The Round Chapel, London.
Saturday 29th January
£15-£25
TICKETS

Join us in the resplendent Round Chapel for an evening of Ceilidhs and Barn Dances. We've missed 2 years of dancing, and we've missed you all. It's time to make up for lost time and dance like lunatics all night.

There comes a time when we just have to dance, or quite frankly, this little dance troupe might cease to exist! This new variant appears to be far less pathogenic and cases are dropping. We aren't not allowed to do this nor receive funding or assistance if we don't, so we will do it, and have the best time ever!

Hello Again Hackney - It’s Time to Dance Again!!
2 for 1 Tickets for Hackney Residents. Many thanks to Hackney Council for Supporting this event with a special offer to Hackney Residents to get us out the house and dancing again. Please email us something with your name and address on and we'll send you the promo code (photo or screenshot of a bill).

We are a London based band and will be bringing our take on Ceilidh and Barn Dances to this show. We will be dancing, The Circassian Circle, Dashing White Sargeant, Riverside, The Eightsome Reel, The Gay Gordons, Strip the Willow (both versions), Lucky Seven, Cumberland Square Eight, the Virginia Reel, plus a whole load more dances we like and some we made up cos that's how we roll....

DISCLAIMER -we are not a Scottish Band! We are a band based in London, many of us with Scottish ancestry and family, and many of us dance in Scotland every year... and we certainly bring our version of Ceilidh to the table and hold the artform in reverance. We love the tradition, but it's only a starting point - we've been mashing up the tradition for years!

Our dances are All Inclusive, regardless of age, gender, ability, ethnicity or sexual orientation. Although based largely on traditional European and American dance forms, we have tailored our dances to be non-heteronormative and involve everyone. We welcome members of the LGBTQ+ community, and every community. Be nice, respect each other, and dance with everyone.

COVID Cancellations and Complications
Please all test before you come, or make sure you've had a negative test result in the last couple of days as part of your regular testing regine. Please bring the plastic thingy with you - we don't need to see it registered, we just need to know you've done it.

You can dance in "bubbles" of 8+ friends for added safety if you so desire.
